1 · What this is — and what it is not

• Post Nup Clarity is a self-help document preparation platform. It helps you assemble prenuptial and postnuptial agreement drafts from your own answers, for educational purposes.
• It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Nothing on this site — including AI-generated explanations, suggestions, or document text — is legal advice for your situation. No attorney–client relationship is created by using the platform, and communications with it are not privileged.
• The consultation is separate. The 15-minute consultation is provided by Chatila Law, a California law firm, under its own engagement. Any attorney–client relationship there is between you and that firm, limited to what the firm agrees to in writing, and available for California matters only.
• Your documents need review. In many states key provisions are unenforceable without each party having independent counsel. You should have your own attorney — and your partner should have theirs — review anything generated here before signing.

2 · Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter contracts. You agree to provide accurate information — these documents only protect you if the disclosures in them are truthful and complete. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password private (we cannot recover your synced data without it — see the Privacy Policy).

3 · Prices and payment

• Building is free. You can complete the entire wizard without paying.
• The Full Agreement — $299. Charged only at the end, after you review the readiness check and sign off. Payment unlocks your generated document package.
• 15-Minute Couple Consultation — $150. Charged at booking; Chatila Law contacts you to schedule.
• One-time charges only — no subscription. Every purchase here is a single, one-time payment. There is no membership, no recurring billing, no auto-renewal, and nothing to cancel. We will never charge a stored card again without you starting a brand-new purchase yourself.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. Prices may change, but never for a purchase you have already made.

4 · Refunds

• The Full Agreement ($299): full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked — request it from the purchase email you used, via the chat assistant on any page or the booking flow. After 14 days, or once an agreement generated here has been signed by either party, the purchase is final.
• The Consultation ($150): fully refundable until the call is scheduled, and with at least 24 hours' notice before a scheduled call. A missed call without notice forfeits the fee; one free reschedule is always available with notice.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days (Stripe's processing time).

5 · Your content, our platform

Yours: everything you enter and every document generated from your answers belongs to you. Use your generated documents however you wish.

Ours (and our licensors'): the platform — software, design, templates, explanatory content, and the guided process — is owned by Post Nup Clarity's operators and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Don't copy, resell, scrape, or white-label it, and don't use the templates to build a competing service.

6 · Honest limits (please actually read this one)

• No outcome is promised. Enforceability of any marital agreement depends on facts we cannot see — how it was signed, what was disclosed, each state's law, and decisions of a future court. We promise a careful process, not a court result.
• The platform is provided "as is." We work hard on accuracy, including verified statutory citations, but laws change and software has bugs. We disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows.
• Liability cap: to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including the outcome of any divorce, separation, or dispute between you and your partner.
• Some states don't allow certain limits; where that's you, these apply only as far as that state permits.

7 · Disputes with us

These terms are governed by California law. If we have a dispute, both sides agree to first try to resolve it informally by email for 30 days. Failing that, disputes go to binding individual arbitration in California under JAMS consumer rules (we pay the arbitration fees that exceed what a court filing would have cost you), and both sides waive class actions and jury trials. Small-claims court remains available to you instead, always.

8 · Housekeeping

• We can suspend accounts that abuse the platform (fraud, scraping, attacks). You can delete your account at any time — the Delete button really deletes.
• We may update these terms; material changes get a new effective date at the top. Continuing to use the platform after a change accepts it.
• If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest still stands.
